You did read my blog. I hope you did like it. Next year I will go for a semester in Scotland and so I will still better english. I think that this exercice of creating a blog is a good thing. So I know now how to proceed and that, in fact, it's simple. Moreover I will create a blog concening to my trip in Scotland.

As you know there are a lot of different ways to make an advertising but it's a cocktail with 2 ingredients to make a good advertising campaign:

  • a scenario which makes smile or cry but somehing different. So the spectator will remember the advertise
  • A slogan, preferably with the name of the product inside.  

So it's no reason that the consumer doesn't buy the product!!!!

Advertising campaign for cars

Advertising for car are often similar.Inevitably they put in scene cars but except if we have the project to buy a cer we don't pay attention to the brand. For example I will describe an advertise which is in this moment on TV.It's a man who introduce his new car to someone who has sat in the sofa.But we don't see this person. In fact it's a baby and his father says that he will take care of the car he bought for the baby until he has 18 years.It's also the advertise in Middle East. A king of petrol says his son:"pas assez cher mon fils", speaking of his new car that is not enough expensive according to the father.

These ideas show the quality of the car. But personally I can't remember the brand or the model of the cars. In my opinion it's because there are a lot of advertises for different cars and none has a really original concept in order to be different from the others.

The impact of advertise

 I made a survey on the impact of advertising in order to know what people think about advertises they see every day, every where. 

On the first question,” without reflecting, quote me an advertise which is shown at the moment”, 50% of the 20 people who answered, said the advertising of “118218”. 

Regarding to the details of the answers, it’s because of the funny character of the advertising. that they remember this one. The other ingredients that people find necessary is the fact that the commercials have to be original with a memorable song.  

Almost every people who answered the third question said that they sometime remember an advertising but not the that it promotes. That’s why an advertising has to be different from the others by being funny and original.  

Most people answered that they sometimes consider buying  a product immediately after they  have seen it on television. That means that the advertising has a big impact on the consumers, they don’t only take into account their needs but are also influenced by the advertising.  

For the fifth question, “What does advertising inform you about?”, the most quoted responses are

“the quality of the product” and “the image”. So the brand image of a product is mainly made by the advertising. That’s because a company which has a big enough budget to advertise and is already successful  and in order to sell a lot of products, it must have already convinced a large part of the public. So people are reassured by the product.

Concerning to the next question, the half people said that it amuses them to see advertising on TV. But the other half said that they change the channel when it’s break time. So we can say that the advertising on TV has no impact on a large part of the consumers. So companies have to find a balance for their budget in order to have a good brand image and in the same time to not spend too much money because more than the quarter of the viewers will not be impacted by the advertising.TV is the media which has the biggest impact on consumers. It has a big impact on 15% of people who responded. Press is also a good media for companies in order to impact the greatest number of consumers. On the other hand, radio, cinema and internet are the weakest media to advertise, overall radio which has really no impact on 50% of people. Press and posters in the street are surely the best media for companies because there are average costs and it has impact on a lot of people at the same time.People who responded to my survey are 50% women and 50% men. They are between 20 and 23 years old.

Who wants to go with me to Nouillorc?

SNCF, the national company of railroad in France, launched a new advertising campaign for its air service. Regarding to the advertisings we don’t notice immediately the company nor the product. Those advertises are based on an original idea. Road signs show the entry in cities. You don’t understand immediately but regarding more attentively you can read the name of megalopolis. But in the background there are fields and cows. Several cities are put in scene: Losse en Gelaisse, Quancoune, Nouillorc, Nioudeli, Pequint, Loucsorre or Saint-Gapour, names of enormous cities with the french orthography. The slogan is “Heureusement on ne vous propose pas que le train”, which means “Fortunately only the train is not proposed to you”. In effective the "SNCF" allows to travel all around the world and so to discover other landscape than french ones.

Unfortunately the logo of SNCF is little and we can’t guess the product promoted by this advertising. The SNCF is becoming now a specialist in Marketing. The advertisings are original but they just need to be sure that everybody understands what the advertising is about

without denture you can’t eat chips!

It's a funny advertising which makes me particularly laugh. I didn't exactly remember which product they were talking about but after a little research and asking questions to my friends, they told me about which product the commercial was. It was a commercial for Lays Chips. The scenario is about two old people around 80 years old who are sitting in front of their house. Their grandson said them hello and he leaves the house. Unfortunately a package of chips fell out of his pocket. In order to take as first the package of chips, the old man don't hesitate one second to make eighth notes foot and to crush with his cane the woman. Finally he's the first who took the package but unfortunately the woman has his denture, so ho isn’t able to take profit of his greed. 

I remember this advertising because it's a little bit cruel and funny at the same time. Old people are funny and they act in a silly way but at the same time I feel sorry for them. The success of this advertises is based on the mix between shock, because the man makes fall his old woman, and the humour.

Super Timor really really more stronger!!!

In this week I will speak about one of the most funny advertising in the world. It's really appreciated in Côte d'Ivoire and worldfamous. This advertising makes of a simple insecticide a worship object. Even if the product does'nt exist in Europe, a lot of people know this advertising which can be found easily on Websites and blogs, there are also Fan Clubs!!!! The advertising was on african TV 20 years ago but it's still now nothing better to laungh and to be of good mood. The secret of this perfect is a mix of a super décoration, a super music, super actors, a super choreography and a super slogan.
